On the road again

By some miracle of god, Briallen had managed to escape her showdown at the forest of death and ended up in the everlasting waste land that was the Land of Wind. Wiping the sweat from her brow, she continued to trudge through the desert hoping to put as much distance between those two as possible, especially the one that knew who she was, how he knew wasn't important, what was important was that she never crossed any of their paths again, which probably was wishful thinking on her part. A sigh escaped her lips as she felt as if she was walking for days. Her legs started feeling heavy and every step she made was more painful than the last, but she decided not to falter, she left that retched village for one thing and one thing only  and she wasn't going to give up.

After hours of walking in the boiling sun, she had finally stumbled upon a desert cave. Relieved, she quickly climbed the odd rock formation that it was situated on and sought refuge in inside the cave, which was much cooler than she thought it would be. She would throw her body on the floor of the cave and before she knew it, she would fall asleep.

Kumagawa was in the desert cave, for his mental sanity than anything. He had taken the life of his fellow shinobi. It was a child, a puppet user who he had killed. Kumagawa could remember the feeling of his sword tearing through the boy's flesh. The memory of it sickened Kumagawa to his stomach, sure the boy had attacked him first but Kumagawa felt like it could have been handled differently. Maybe Kumagawa didn't need to kill the boy? Or maybe he did the right thing. Either way Kumagawa was in the cave sitting on a stone that overlooked the entrance. Sitting there he began to meditate.

Not long after he began to bring his meditation to a close he felt something enter the cave. Or at least he felt the being's chakra. Openning an eye he saw that a girl had entered the cave and fell asleep on the floor. Jumping down and getting a closer look he saw that the girl was only a year or two younger than him and had a butterfly tattoo on her right breast. Which Kumagawa had to take a moment of thought not to investigate further.  While he was suspicious of the girl's appearance from the looks of it, it didn't look like she came from Suna to kill him at least.

Waiting an hour or two as Kumagawa began to get his stuff together to move to another cave he roused the younger gal from her slumber. "Wake up, Who are you and what are you doing here?" Kumagawa asked as he nudged her with a stick he had found. He personally didn't want to put his hands on her, Mainly because she could have struck him at any moment. In the desert one couldn't be too careful. "Where are you from?" Kumagawa asked when he was sure the girl was awake.

Maybe it was the fact that she was tired, or the fact that she hadn't sleep in a real bed for months, but she had instantly fallen asleep on the floor of the cave, this was probably one of the worst things to have possibly done for who knows what kind of rapists, thieves or murderers lived in the desert, but for now that wouldn't matter all she wanted to do was sleep.

Mamma? Papa where are you?. Briallen said as she walked slowly down the steps of her home. It was empty. Their room was empty, everything was gone no signs of struggle or a break in, it was like they packed up and left her there. She searched every room refusing to believe that they just left her there. They'll come back right, kenny-chan?, Briallen said holding up her stuffed animal her father bought her two days ago as a birthday present, it was her only friend in the world and right now the only one she had now. Your right Kenny-chan they went shopping for new stuff! I know! Imma make them breakfast! Little Briallen ran off into the kitchen, waiting for her parents to come home.

Briallen curled up on the floor, mumbling in her sleep. Mamma...Papa...., she tossed and turned as she was plagued by the memory of three years ago. The dream would come to an abrupt end however after hearing someone's voice, accompanied by a slight nudge. She would slowly rise up from the floor rubbing her eyes, Good morning..., she said drowsily with drool all over her face.

Kumagawa watched as the teen sleepily awoke from her sleep. Hearing her mumble in her sleep about her mother and father caused his eyes to narrow slightly. The fact that she was sleeping in the middle of a cave where anything could happen was bad enough, but now she was mumbling... If there were any hungry animals around she would be an easy target for a meal. Which meant that Kumagawa missed out a chance to take out another potential assassin for his life. Though from the looks of it, if she was an assassin coming after his life he had very little to worry about.

"Wake up." He said again, still keeping a relatively stern expression on his face pointing the stick mere inches from the girl's face. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" Kuma asked, reiterating his previous question. It was obvious that Kumagawa was slightly annoyed at this point. But he wanted to know whether or not the girl was after his life. Kuma had been living in the desert for a few days no doubt Suna would have noticed his absence.

In the back of his mind Kumagawa wondered exactly what he was going to do if the girl was here for his life. He didn't think he had it in him to kill another child. The first one was enough. Kumagawa was a medical ninja! He trained to save lives not end them. There would be nothing good if he had to dispatch another shinobi but he was still prepared to fight for his life.

Briallen opened her eyes and noticed the man with infront for her, Briallen confused his stern look for something more deadly. She would quickly put some distance between the both of them and drew a kunai. St-Stay away from me rapist, i know a lot of ninjutsu!, after examining the man more carefully she would notice that he had a sword, which put her at a huge disadvantage considering she never fought a day in her life, but she wasn't going to give up her innocence in a cave to a stranger. Her life as a rouge ninja got more complicated by the minute. She would slowly move towards her pouch that was to her left keeping her eyes on the would be rapist. If i an get to my smoke bombs i can escape!, she thought as her hands began to tremble. Taking a deep breath she would throw the kunai towards him and ran towards the pouch, while the man was preoccupied with the kunai, she fumbled through her pouch looking for her smoke bombs. Damn it..where are they??, deciding not to wait she threw the pouch towards him and began to ran but she didn't get far as she tripped and twisted her ankle and stumbled down the rock formation that the cave rested on, giving her several injuries. Ouch...... She was now at the mercy of the rapist as sand filled her fresh wounds, what a day this was.

Kumagawa looked at the girl quizzically. "Rapist?!?" Kumagawa said in surprise. Kumagawa may have been in a cave for a few days, but he was pretty sure that he didn't look bad enough to be a rapist. Though Kumagawa hadn't showered. It was hard to find a working bath or shower in the desert and not everyone was going to smell like roses on day five of hiding in a desert cave. So maybe it was his smell that made her expect him to be a rapist, but that didn't make sense. Besides it was still daylight outside, what kind of rapist would be preying on women during the day. Certainly not Kuma, wait did Kuma just admit mentally to be a rapist. Thinking back on it Kumagawa hadn't fooled around with someone for a few months, it mostly so he could regain focus. Shaking his head of the thoughts he watched as the girl tried to make some form of escape.

Kumagawa wasn't going to give much of a chase, hell it would be better for him if she just got up and left. Watching her scramble to her pouch Kumagawa couldn't help but slightly snicker. What was she going to do with that kunai. From the way she was reacting it seemed she was a novice shinobi. Even her aim was off, she missed Kuma by a few inches. Which Kuma didn't even try to avoid. Kuma hummed and caught the girl's pouch as the girl tripped and fell to the ground. That was very anticlimatic. Walking closer to the girl Kumagawa began to examine the wound.

"You done running in circles?" He asked as he looked at the wound. It wasn't too bad but if he didn't hurry, things could get ugly. Making a few handsigns he laid his hand over Briallen's wound and his hands began to glow. As he kept his hands over the girl's wound it slowly began to close. After a minute or two the wound would be healed. Sighing Kumagawa began to examine the wound. "You alright? As you can see, I'm no rapist." Kumagawa sighed, looking down at the place where her bleeding leg was. Aparently a few drops landed on the sand floor aparently Kuma wasn't fast enough in healing the wound. Kumagawa cursed as he began to move.

Moving as fast as he could he would attempt to scoop the girl in his arms and jump behind one of rocks in the cave. Holding onto the girl with one hand on her mouth he would watch as a large sand lizard would surface from the sand. Looking for a midday snack, hunting after the scent of blood. Kumagawa hoped that he had grabbed the girl and that she would be quiet. Though she might not be so quiet, considering he had one of his hands on her breast. After noticing what he was touching he would whisper a quiet, "Sorry"

Briallen tried her best to crawl away but her efforts were futile as she couldn't get far even if she wanted, the pain was unbearable, she would lay on her back staring at the vultures circling her body, is this how she would die? The vultures feasting on her ravaged body after the cave rapist had his way with her. What a cruel way to die, she thought as the hot sand burnt her lovely skin, hopefully he would have the decency to take her back into the cave, it was hot as hell out here, then again he was a lowly rapist, they do what they want after all. She would sigh as she watched him walking towards her, that look on his face, the look of a rapist, the words he spoke, You done running around in circles? The words of a rapist. Briallen would cringe as she watched his eyes scanned her body, maybe wounds turned him on? She had come to terms with her fate as he began to form seals, maybe it was some forbidden rapist technique passed down to him by the rapikage? What was she thinking? That was complete nonsense. As his hands reached towards her body she closed her eyes, only to feel her wound slowly closing and the pain was going away. His words made her feel like a complete idiot as she thought he was about to take her innocence. Umm...Thank you, sorry for calling you a rapis-, her words would be cut short as he grabbed her and placed his hand over her mouth. See watched as a giant lizard surfaced on at the same spot that she was, she was a one lame ass rogue. After he removed his hand from her mouth she would nod as he apologized about groping her. Thanks for everything, i probably should get going, she brushed herself off and started contemplating which way to go.

Once the lizard retreated back into the sand Kumagawa sighed. "Yes, we both should." He said letting go of the girl. Scratching his chin he wondered where exactly he was going to go next. There was another cave not to far from this one but it was filled with ant lion traps. Which meant it would be hard for anyone to come after him through there. Touching his chin he looked at the girl who was about to leave. From the look of it with her helpless struggle to fend off Kumagawa's nonexistent sexual desire and her inability to defend herself, it didn't look like the girl was going to last long on her own. At least in the desert.

"where are you heading?" KUmagawa asked. Holding his hand somewhat in the air he could still feel the touch of the girl's breast. They were soft, warm, and squishy meaning they were real not like the silicon implants that Kuma sometimes had to implant when he worked in the hospitals. Kumagawa sighed shaking the multiple thoughts of breasts and implants from his mind as he tried to regain some kind of composure. "And you still haven't answered my question about who are you and where your from?" Kumagawa said once again for the third time trying to get an answer to his question. His voice showed that he was obviously getting tired of asking the same question over and over again. It was a pain in the ass. Kumagawa awaited the girl's answer as his eyes began to travel around the cave. Looking for signs of the lizard's imminent return

Lost in thought she wondered where to travel too next, it was obvious she was just roaming in the lands with no real plans and was just hoping that she would find some clue. Then again who knows what will happen the next place she heads to, she was attacked in the Land of Fire, and nearly eaten in the Land of Wind, she might actually get raped. She would cringe at the thought and decided to actually train before something else happened, after all her luck might run out. She was everything a ninja is NOT, and that would be a problem. Maybe i shouldn't have left the village, she would sigh as it seems like she had no other options. Then again with those giant lizards roaming around this place could become a good training grounds. Briallen was in a bind as usual for not thinking things through.

Her train of thought was broken by the questions the man had asked her, thinking of what she put him through she at least owed him an explanation. I'm Briallen Uch- Arishima, I'm a rogue ninja but as you can see I'm not every good at it. Been searching for my parents who went missing three years ago so in all honesty i have no idea where I'm heading, but it doesn't matter. As long as i stay true to my promise. Everything she said was true except her name of course, she had no intention to let the world know she was an uchiha, who knows what would happen.

Kumagawa rubbed his chin as the girl talked about herself. Taking a look outside he noticed that it was around midday. He would have told the girl to go to Suna but she didn't seem like someone who could take care of themselves. Besides it would take around 2 days for her to get there anyway, and without a decent supply of water in this heat. She was vulture chow. "If your looking for you parents, best place to get any information would be in Suna." Kumagawa said scouting out the desert, looked like there was no one coming for him.

"If you plan to go there I won't be there to help you if a real rapist comes to have his way with you." Kumagawa said before making a mischievous smile. "And with a body like yours. You won't last long without water not in the desert sun." Lifting the stick that he had in his hand he threw it in the hole the lizard had made. "Ms. Ucharishima, if you want to survive in the desert and get to Suna your going to have to have a little know how. If you want to live your going to have to come with me for abit." Kumagawa said as he began to leave the cave holding his sword. He didn't waste a moment awaiting for the girl's answer if she wanted to survive the cruel and unforgiving desert she would have to follow him.

Briallen would wipe the sweat from her brow as the heat seemed to have gotten worse and it was now unbearable for her, since she had no where else to head, her best bet was to head to Suna with her savior, after she had nothing lose.  She would quickly run back to the cave and gathered her ninja tools she had spilled counting each piece to make sure she had gathered them all and headed back towards the man. Its Arishima. And lets get going, the sooner we leave this giant sand box, the better, she said walking following his lead. Briallen watched the stranger and had noticed that he was a medical ninja who carried a sword, how odd, she thought struggling to keep up with him seeing that she still in pain from the fall. Hey Mr. Medical swordsman, could you slow down a bit, she said cringing in pain. By the way, why are you out here on your own? Shouldn't you be inside your village instead of wandering the desert?.

Kumagawa sighed and stopped as he awaited for Briallen to catch up. When she said they were going to leave the desert Kumagawa chuckled. "Believe me, we aren't leaving the desert just yet. Actually we're on your training ground, we are relocating to another base." Once she had caught up he had begun to walk through the desert once again. After walking for a little he noticed that the girl was limping in pain. Sighing Kumagawa slowed down. "The reason isn't important. All you need to know is that I had abit of a complication which caused me to choose to train out here." Kumagawa said not caring if she accepted it as an answer or not. Letting his eyes fall down to the girl's ankle he decided that if she was actually in pain, it would hinder him. Crotching down and holding out his arms behind hims he sighed. "You know your such a pain. I'd rather get to where we need to be before night comes, get on my back. At least then I won't have to worry about your ankle." While Kumagawa didn't look it, he never did believe in the walk it off approach to most wounds.

When see caught up with the man she would rested her hand on his shoulder for support, traveling non-stop had finally taken its toll on her as she was breathing heavily and was sweating profusely, she was physically exhausted and it showed. I always heard Suna was terrible but its even worse than i expected, my skin can't handle all this dry air! Hopefully this base of yours is near an oasis, cause i don't know how much more of this i can take!. Briallen hated dry weather and wondered if she looked as bad if she felt in this desert, which was no good seeing that a cute, rich guy could come sweep her off her feet at any giving time! Oh how cruel the gods were to her. Using Kuma's shoulder as support they slowly traveled through the desert but at the rate they were traveling they wouldn't reach for weeks, which was mostly her fault. She nodded in approval of the man's explanation for the reason he was in the desert, she knew what he told her was horse shit but he didn't owe her any explanation, she was just thankful he was there to save her. When he crouched down and told her to get on his back, she would giggle in amusement. You sure know how to treat a lady Mr.Medical Swordsman,how can i refuse such a generous offer?, she would hike up her tight mini skirt and slowly climbed on his back, her breasts resting on him. The last piggy back ride i had was with my dad, that was twelve years ago..... The memory of her parents drove her into silence, she would simply close her eyes and waited for the man to get going.

Kumagawa sighed when he heard the girl complain about the desert. Skin? Dry air? She is in a sand sauna where her life could end at any moment and her biggest worry was about her skin? Then she made an comment about an oasis. Kumagawa chuckled slightly. They would be lucky if there was a source of water around the cave, let alone an oasis. "Oasis? next thing you'll be telling me that there is a spa." Kumagawa said smacking his head with his hand. But he continued to walk for what seemed like hours as the girl merely limped behind him. Then Kumagawa lent his back to her so they could get to his destination faster. When she got on his back he stood up.

"Damn, your heavy... and call me Kuma." Kumagawa said jokingly. In actuality she wasn't that heavy or maybe it was just those training session Kuma had lifting boulders were working out. Either way once she was on he began to make alot more progress toward cavern. As they were walking he heard her say something about her dad. Kuma's brow furrowed. Kumagawa had absolutely no idea what to say at this point so he just tried to strike up a random conversation, "So... What is your favorite animal?"
